John & Darby's Wedding and other LA Adventures

Lyle and I were so excited to take a vacation! FINALLY! Tenley was awesome on the airplane rides (thanks to the Sky Mall Magazine that was provided in our seat back pockets!), and the vacation was a total success! We got in on Thursday night, slept in a hotel, and woke up Friday to get ready for the wedding. The weather was AMAZING and we had a great time at the temple with Lyle and his family. It was a great experience. Here are some pictures of Tenley with her dad just outside the temple waiting for John & Darby to come out!

Tenley had a great time at the reception! Here she is showing off her dance moves with Grandpa Vaniman.

We had a great time! John & Darby had a photo booth set up for all of the guests to take their pictures, and the pictures were put into the guest book and then you got coasters that you could put pictures in! I thought it was GENIOUS!!!! Needless to say we had an amazing time! We got to Trevor and Tamar's house at 10:30 that night. Tenley was a trooper!

I just realized that I didn't take any pictures of our time in LA with Trevor and Tamar. We had a great time! We actually got to see Trevor, spent a great saturday swimming with everyone, got to have an amazingly relaxing sunday with everyone (and a great pot roast by Tamar), and Tamar's birthday on Monday! I hadn't seen them in about five years, so it was great just to hang out and have fun with family.

Tuesday we went driving around LA, we went to Lyle's Grandma's house in La Verne and then we drove by his other Grandma's house. Then we went to Covina and visited with my Great Uncle Bob and Great Auntie Sharon. We went to a baseball gamet with them and got to see Gary and Kerri and their kids Allyson and David. It was a really fun time! They even took us to Legends for dinner. Then we left on Wednesday to go home. Too bad it was still snowing when we got home! We had an amazing time and we were almost ready for easter when we got back!
